GRUPO AZOR AND MEXICRANEOS GET JOINED TO PRESERVE THE MEXICAN TRADITIONS

With the passage of time, Mexican culture has been constantly changing, however, there are traditions that are still preserved, such as the Day of the Dead that gives life to the second edition of Mexicraneos in Mexico City, with the support of one from its official sponsors: Grupo Azor.

Mexicraneos 2018 is an exhibition of monumental skulls in one of the most important avenues in Mexico City: Paseo de la Reforma.

The monumental skulls are intervened by a series of plastic artists, so the exhibition is a show of color, techniques and diversity.

For the second edition, Mexicraneos 2018, Grupo Azor sponsored two finished skulls: «Xoloitzcuintle, sacred dog of the Aztecs» by the artist Ignacio Villanueva and «Run and run!» By the artist Izaskun Fernández.

Grupo Azor knows the importance of the traditions in our country, for that reason it proposes that the spectators are part of the exhibition. To achieve this we placed a white sculptural skull, in which people could paint and show their talent, using the permanent Signal Xtra marker. The activity was completely free and was held on Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 October, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In addition, we are holding a workshop, next to the monumental skull, so that city dwellers can paint their own miniature skull, on October 20, 21, 27 and 28 and November 3, 4, 10 and 11, at a time of 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is important to arrive early, because in this workshop only 400 miniature skulls will be awarded per day.

Those who attend to visit the monumental skull and participate in it, can participate to earn 3 kits of Azor products. All they have to do is upload their best photo to Grupo Azor’s Facebook -possession with the monumental skull Azor or participating in the workshop- and the 3 photos with the most likes gain one of the 3 kits with Azor products.
